Page 114: Correct spelling of Reaumur in second occurrence of his name, i.e., Reaumur scale.

Page 127: Correct spelling of Wilhelm Wien and Wien's Law (second occurrence).

page 129: Caption for Figure 7-27, should capitalize Secchi disk on line 5.

page 131: Caption on Figure 7-31, should be Kiehl and Trenberth...(missing space)

page 132: Correction on figure number: According to Figure 7-31 (not Figure 7-40)

Figure 7-1: Correct the spelling of Celsius in the figure. Click here for revised figure.

Figure 7-7: We are looking for a better figure without the missing data (the black swaths).

Figure 7-11: Items 2 and 3 are reversed. Item 2 refers to energy required to heat or cool water between 0 and 100 degrees C. Click here for revised figure.

Figure 7-17: Missing z-axis label for depth in meters. Click here for revised figure.

Figures 7-24 and 7-25 could use clarification. Figure 7-24 has onset of stratification in Feb which is probably a bit early. Figure 7-25 does not entirely depict extremes of solar radiation in polar zone and temperature profiles are not well-drawn.
